Signature Bank was established on November 10, 2003, with its original office located in Minnetonka, Minnesota. In a series of mergers, Signature Bank became part of Minnesota Bank & Trust in Edina, Minnesota, on February 23, 2018. Subsequently, on September 17, 2022, it merged with Htlf Bank, which is based in Denver, Colorado. This culminated in the dissolution of Signature Bank as a standalone institution.
