The bank subsequently moved its main office to 239-241 Fifth Avenue, New York, New York on the same day. In 2003, the institution was rebranded again, becoming Chb America Bank, and acquired California Chohung Bank in Los Angeles, California on March 24, 2003. Following this, the bank officially adopted the name Shinhan Bank America on April 1, 2006.
