Sharon Bank is a financial institution that was established in 1873 under the original name Sharon Savings and Loan Association. Over the years, the bank underwent several name changes and organizational transitions. On June 7, 1991, it became known as Sharon Savings Bank and changed its organization type from a Mutual Savings Bank. Subsequently, on March 26, 2004, Sharon Savings Bank transitioned to a Stock Savings Bank. The bank adopted the name Sharon Savings Bank on October 31, 2008, after acquiring Morton Savings Bank located in Morton, Pennsylvania.
