History Of Security State Bank
Security State Bank was established on July 25, 1909, in Wishek, North Dakota. Over the years, the bank expanded its operations and, on December 1, 1989, it acquired Central Dakota Bank located in Lehr, North Dakota. This expansion was part of Security State Bank's growth strategy within the region. However, the bank's independent operations came to an end on May 21, 2021, when it merged with and became part of Unison Bank, headquartered in Jamestown, North Dakota. Following this merger, the Security State Bank brand was phased out as it integrated into Unison Bank's wider network of services.
