Security Savings Bank is an American financial institution that was established on June 14, 1920. Originally located in Larchwood, Iowa, the bank has undergone several changes in both location and ownership over the years. On February 19, 1985, Security Savings Bank acquired Inwood State Bank and simultaneously moved its main office to Main Street in Larchwood, Iowa. The institution relocated again in September 2002 to 430 Holder Street in Larchwood. In April 2007, Security Savings Bank expanded its operations by acquiring George State Bank in George, Iowa. The main office was moved once more on January 1, 2014, to a new location at 100 West Road in Canton, South Dakota, and subsequently relocated to 100 South West Street in Canton on May 1, 2014. Most recently, on January 14, 2019, Security Savings Bank acquired Exchange State Bank in Luverne, Minnesota, further enhancing its presence in the region.
