Security Bank is a financial institution with its origins dating back to March 6, 1928, when it was established as The Security National Bank of Laurel. Over the years, the bank has undergone several significant changes and expansions. On April 1, 1991, it acquired Security State Bank located in Allen, Nebraska. This was followed by the acquisition of Osmond State Bank in Osmond, Nebraska, on November 2, 1998, and subsequently, The Coleridge National Bank in Coleridge, Nebraska, on July 23, 2005. On January 5, 1980, the bank's main office was relocated to 202 East Second Street, Laurel, Nebraska.
