Scottrade Bank was established on July 8, 2008, originally serving as a financial institution affiliated with Scottrade, Inc., which was known for its online brokerage services. On March 31, 2011, the bank's main office was relocated to 700 Maryville Centre Drive in Saint Louis, Missouri. Following this, on July 21, 2011, the bank changed its primary federal regulatory agency to the Office of the Comptroller of the Currency. Eventually, on September 18, 2017, Scottrade Bank merged with TD Bank, National Association, based in Wilmington, Delaware, marking the end of its independent operations.
