Sage Bank

Sage Bank was established in 1885 under the name Lowell Co-operative Bank, initially operating without FDIC insurance. Over the years, it underwent a change in its organizational structure, becoming a cooperative bank stock on January 28, 2009. On June 10, 2013, the institution rebranded itself as Sage Bank. Following a period of operation as Sage Bank, the institution merged with Salem Five Cents Savings Bank on August 17, 2018, becoming part of the larger banking entity headquartered in Salem, Massachusetts.
