Sabadell United Bank

Sabadell United Bank was established on November 25, 1974, under the name United National Bank of Miami. Over the years, the institution underwent several name changes, becoming United National Bank in 1988 and later Mellon United National Bank in 1998. In 2000, it rebranded as Sabadell United Bank, National Association. The bank's primary office was relocated to 1111 Brickell Avenue, Miami, Florida, in March 2003. Significant growth was achieved through acquisitions, including TransAtlantic Bank in August 2010 and Lydian Private Bank in August 2011. In July 2014, Sabadell United Bank expanded further by acquiring JGB Bank, National Association in Doral, Florida. The bank continued its growth strategy through mergers, first merging with IberiaBank in August 2017, and subsequently merging with First Horizon Bank on July 2, 2020, both in Memphis, Tennessee.
