History Of RSNB Bank
RSNB Bank, originally established as The Rock Springs National Bank on May 23, 1892, has undergone several significant changes throughout its history. On May 31, 2012, the institution changed its name to RSNB Bank and modified its regulatory status and class; it changed its primary federal regulatory agency to the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation (FDIC), transitioned to a state chartered bank not a member of the Federal Reserve System, and withdrew from membership in the Federal Reserve System. Subsequently, on August 1, 2012, RSNB Bank changed its primary federal regulatory agency to the Federal Reserve (FED) and became a member of the Federal Reserve System while also changing its bank class to a state chartered bank that is a member of the Federal Reserve System. The bank’s main office was relocated to 200 Second Street in Rock Springs, Wyoming, on May 16, 2007, after previously being located at 333 Broadway in Rock Springs since May 18, 1970.
