History Of Rose Hill Bank

Rose Hill Bank was established on May 17, 1906, originally named The Rose Hill State Bank. The bank underwent a name change on May 1, 2000, adopting the name Rose Hill Bank. Throughout its history, the institution experienced several significant changes, including a relocation of its main office to Main Street in Rose Hill, Kansas, on September 30, 1989. On March 31, 2006, the main office was moved again to 107 North Rose Hill Road, also in Rose Hill, Kansas. On August 1, 2012, Rose Hill Bank became a state-chartered bank and a member of the Federal Reserve System, changing its primary federal regulatory agency to the Federal Reserve. The bank merged with American State Bank & Trust Company in Great Bend, Kansas, on July 15, 2018. Subsequently, on October 2, 2021, it merged with Equity Bank in Andover, Kansas, marking the end of its independent operations.
