History Of Rocky Mountain Bank
Rocky Mountain Bank was established on February 24, 1983, originally named American National Bank of Rock Springs. The bank underwent several changes throughout its history, including a significant rebranding on August 3, 2005, when it adopted the name Rocky Mountain Bank. This change was accompanied by a shift in regulatory oversight as the bank transitioned to a State Chartered Bank and became a member of the Federal Reserve System. Over the years, the main office of Rocky Mountain Bank relocated multiple times: first to 2515 Foothills Boulevard in Rock Springs, Wyoming, in 1984; then to 4050 West Lake Creek Drive in Wilson, Wyoming, in 2008; and subsequently to 890 West Broadway in Jackson, Wyoming, in 2011. Ultimately, on December 31, 2021, Rocky Mountain Bank merged with First Western Trust Bank in Denver, Colorado, marking the end of its independent operations.
