Riverview Bank

Riverview Bank was established on August 6, 1904, originally known as The First National Bank of Marysville. Over the years, the institution underwent several name changes and reorganizations, including a significant transition on November 19, 2011, when it adopted the name Riverview Bank and shifted its regulatory agency to the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation (FDIC). On January 1, 2009, it changed its name to Riverview National Bank and subsequently acquired Halifax National Bank. The bank expanded its operations through various acquisitions, including Union Bank and Trust Company in November 2013 and The Citizens National Bank of Meyersdale in January 2016. In October 2017, Riverview Bank acquired Cbt Bank. On November 30, 2021, Riverview Bank merged with Mid Penn Bank, based in Millersburg, Pennsylvania, marking the end of its independent operations.
