History Of River Town Bank
River Town Bank was originally established as the Bank of Dardanelle on January 1, 1934. It underwent several name changes over the years, notably rebranding to the Bank of Dardanelle on March 31, 2006, and subsequently adopting the name River Town Bank on August 14, 2006. In the course of its operations, the institution changed its trust powers to a limited capacity on January 27, 1998. River Town Bank continued to operate under its final name until November 2, 2019, when it merged with Chambers Bank, based in Danville, Arkansas.
