History Of Resolute Bank
Resolute Bank was established on October 2, 2006, originally under the name Bank of Maumee. On July 1, 2007, it underwent several changes, including a move of its main office to 3425 Briarfield Boulevard Suite 100, Maumee, Ohio 43537, as well as changes in its regulatory and organizational structure, becoming a federal savings bank and switching its primary federal regulatory agency to the Office of Thrift Supervision. On January 27, 2015, the institution changed its name to Resolute Bank. On July 21, 2011, the primary federal regulatory agency was changed to the Office of the Comptroller of the Currency. However, the bank ultimately faced financial difficulties and was failed on October 25, 2019, after which it was merged with government financial assistance.
