HISTORY OF REPUBLIC BANK

Republic Bank was established on March 1, 1978, originally under the name Miller Hill State Bank of Duluth. The institution underwent a name change on April 4, 1986, becoming Republic Bank of Miller Hill, Inc. This was further refined on May 22, 1989, when it adopted the name Republic Bank, Inc. After several decades of operation, Republic Bank merged with National Bank of Commerce, based in Superior, Wisconsin, on October 25, 2019, becoming part of that institution.
