Regent Bank is a financial institution that was established on January 1, 1898, originally under the name The First National Bank of Nowata. Over the years, the bank underwent several name changes, becoming The First National Bank & Trust Company on March 13, 1997, and then Regent Bank & Trust Company, National Association on April 14, 2003. On May 19, 2008, the institution changed its name to Regent Bank and transitioned to being regulated by the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation (FDIC), while withdrawing from membership in the Federal Reserve System. It also changed its chartering agency to a state designation at that time. The bank's main office was relocated to 7136 South Yale, Suite 100, Tulsa, Oklahoma, on June 30, 2016.
