Red Rock Bank was established on November 14, 1901, originally operating under the name Sanborn State Bank. Over the years, the institution underwent several name changes, becoming First Security Bank - Sanborn on August 1, 1990, and later Mills Resolute Bank on September 29, 2008. On the same day, the main office was relocated to 100 South Main Street in Sanborn, Minnesota. The bank changed its name to Red Rock Bank on January 22, 2014. After more than a century of operation, Red Rock Bank officially merged with MidCountry Bank on October 1, 2024, and became part of the larger banking institution based in Minneapolis, Minnesota.
