History Of Pulaski Bank

Pulaski Bank was established in 1922 as the Pulaski Savings and Loan Association. Over the decades, it underwent several name changes and regulatory shifts, evolving from a savings and loan association to a commercial bank and member of the Federal Reserve System. In 1991, it was renamed Pulaski Bank, A Savings Bank, and later became Pulaski Bank, A Federal Savings Bank in 1995. The name was simplified to Pulaski Bank in 2000, coinciding with a change in organization type to a stock savings and loan. The bank's main office has been located at 12300 Olive Boulevard in Saint Louis, Missouri, since 1985. In 2006, Pulaski Bank expanded through the acquisition of Central West End Bank, A Federal Savings Bank. A significant regulatory shift occurred in 2011 when it changed its primary federal regulatory agency to the Office of the Comptroller of the Currency. On July 15, 2015, Pulaski Bank was designated as a national bank and became Pulaski Bank National Association. Ultimately, on November 4, 2016, Pulaski Bank merged with and became part of Busey Bank in Champaign, Illinois.
