History Of Prudential Bank

Prudential Bank was established in 1886 under the name Prudential Savings Association. Over the years, it underwent several name changes and organizational restructuring. In 1983, the bank expanded its operations by acquiring Continental Savings and Loan Association, and in 1985, it moved its main office to 1834 Oregon Avenue in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. The institution was renamed Prudential Savings Bank in 2003 and subsequently changed its organization type to a stock savings bank in 2005. In 2012, Prudential Savings Bank rebranded as Prudential Bank and relocated its main office to the same address on Oregon Avenue. The bank acquired Polonia Bank in Huntington Valley, Pennsylvania, on January 1, 2017. Finally, on November 5, 2022, Prudential Bank merged with Fulton Bank, National Association, marking the end of its independent operations.
