The bank's main office was moved to 630 East 162nd Street in South Holland, Illinois, on April 8, 2006. Providence Bank changed its trust powers to full on November 5, 2010. On May 3, 2013, the institution further updated its name to Providence Bank, LLC. In a significant event on July 25, 2014, Providence Bank & Trust acquired GreenChoice Bank, FSB, in Chicago, Illinois, as part of a government-assisted merger.
