History Of Progressive Ozark Bank
Progressive Ozark Bank, originally established as Ozark Rivers Federal Savings and Loan Association on June 2, 1965, has undergone several name changes and structural transformations throughout its history. The institution changed its name to Ozark Rivers Federal Savings Bank on April 30, 1988. In a significant acquisition, Progressive Federal Savings Bank in Houston, Missouri, was acquired on November 1, 1991, after which the institution was renamed Progressive Ozark Bank, Federal Savings Bank. On December 31, 1987, the main office was relocated to 401 North Iron Street in Salem, Missouri. The organization transitioned from a federal savings bank to a stock savings and loan on January 31, 1987, and later modified its organizational structure with various regulatory updates. On January 2, 2013, the bank rebranded as Progressive Ozark Bank, changed its status to a full trust company, and became a state-chartered bank that is a member of the Federal Reserve System. The primary federal regulatory oversight shifted from The Office of the Comptroller of the Currency to the Federal Reserve on the same date. Additionally, the main office moved to 904 W Scenic Rivers Boulevard in Salem, Missouri, on March 31, 2006.
