Progressive-Home Federal Savings and Loan Association was established on January 1, 1889. Over the years, it underwent various regulatory changes, including a significant shift on July 21, 2011, when it changed its primary federal regulatory agency to The Office of the Comptroller of the Currency. On September 30, 1987, the institution expanded by acquiring Allentown Savings and Loan Association, located in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. Ultimately, on March 25, 2017, Progressive-Home Federal Savings and Loan Association merged with Dollar Bank, Federal Savings Bank, also based in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, marking the end of its independent operations.
