PriorityOne Bank is a financial institution located in Mississippi, established on January 27, 1975, under the original name Bank of Simpson County. The institution underwent several name changes, becoming Bank of Simpson County on September 10, 1976, and Citizens State Bank on June 1, 1993. In 1989, PriorityOne Bank expanded its operations by acquiring State Bank and Trust Company in Collins, Mississippi. Following this, it changed its name to PriorityOne Bank on March 1, 2003. The bank further strengthened its position in the financial market by acquiring Citizens Bank and Trust Company in Morton, Mississippi, on July 1, 1994. On November 5, 2021, PriorityOne Bank became a member of the Federal Reserve System and shifted its primary federal regulatory agency to the Federal Reserve (FED), resulting in a change in its bank classification to a state-chartered bank, member of the Federal Reserve System.
