Presidential Bank is a financial institution that was established on April 15, 1985, under the original name Presidential Savings Association. On May 31, 1988, the bank underwent several changes, including a change in its name to Presidential Savings Bank, FSB, and a transition to a Stock Savings Bank organizational type. At that time, its chartering agency was changed to the Office of Thrift Supervision (OTS). The institution later modified its trust powers to a limited status on September 17, 1999, and adopted the name Presidential Bank, FSB, on December 24, 2003. Most recently, on July 21, 2011, the bank changed its primary federal regulatory agency to the Office of the Comptroller of the Currency.
