Prairie Mountain Bank was established on November 1, 2002, originally named PMI Bank Great Falls. The institution relocated its main office to 1019 7th Street South in Great Falls, Montana, on October 17, 2003. The name of the bank was changed to Prairie Mountain Bank on March 11, 2005. On October 18, 2019, Prairie Mountain Bank merged and became part of American Bank Center, located in Dickinson, North Dakota. Subsequently, on October 29, 2021, the bank changed its name to Bravera Bank.
