Plumas Bank is a financial institution established on December 13, 1980, in California. Originally named Plumas Bank, the bank's main office was relocated to 336 West Main Street in Quincy, California, on March 25, 1985. Over the years, Plumas Bank expanded its operations through acquisitions, notably acquiring Sierra Security Bank in Susanville, California, on December 19, 1988. In 2020, Plumas Bank became a member of the Federal Reserve System and changed its primary federal regulatory agency to the Federal Reserve, as well as its bank classification to that of a State Chartered Bank. On July 1, 2021, the bank further expanded its footprint by acquiring the Bank of Feather River located in Yuba City, California.
