Plaza Bank was established on December 30, 2005, originally under its founding name. It underwent significant growth through acquisitions and organizational changes over the years. The bank relocated its main office to 18200 Von Karman Avenue, Suite 500, Irvine, California, on November 5, 2012. Ultimately, Plaza Bank merged with Pacific Premier Bank on November 1, 2017, becoming part of the Irvine, California-based financial institution.
