Plaza Bank

Plaza Bank was established on December 30, 2005, originally under its founding name. It underwent significant growth through acquisitions and organizational changes over the years. On July 23, 2010, the institution changed its name to Plaza Bank and also acquired SouthwestUSA Bank in Las Vegas, Nevada, as part of a government-assisted merger. The bank further expanded its portfolio by acquiring 1st Commerce Bank in North Las Vegas, Nevada, on June 6, 2013, again through a government-assisted merger. On June 26, 2015, Plaza Bank acquired Bank of Manhattan, N.A., located in El Segundo, California. The bank relocated its main office to 18200 Von Karman Avenue, Suite 500, Irvine, California, on November 5, 2012. Ultimately, Plaza Bank merged with Pacific Premier Bank on November 1, 2017, becoming part of the Irvine, California-based financial institution.
