Pioneer Bank, National Association, is a financial institution with a history that dates back to its establishment on July 1, 1972, as Pioneer Savings Bank. Over the years, the bank has undergone several name and structural changes. On July 17, 2019, it adopted the name Pioneer Bank and transitioned from a savings bank to a stock savings bank. The main office of the bank was relocated to 652 Albany Shaker Road, Albany, New York, on August 29, 2016. Subsequently, on April 1, 2024, Pioneer Bank achieved national bank status and became a member of the Federal Reserve System, with its primary federal regulatory agency changed to the Office of the Comptroller of the Currency.
