History Of Pinnacle Bank
Pinnacle Bank, officially known as Pinnacle Bank - Wyoming, was established on April 6, 1918, in Torrington, Wyoming, under the name The Citizens National Bank of Torrington. Over the years, the institution underwent several name changes, adopting the title The Citizens National Bank & Trust Company in November 1971, followed by Citizens Bank & Trust Company in October 1992. In the same month, it became a state-chartered bank and transitioned its primary federal regulatory agency to the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation (FDIC), withdrawing from membership in the Federal Reserve System.
