Pinnacle Bank is a financial institution that was established in 1880 under the name Banking House of A. W. Clarke. It underwent several name changes over the decades, becoming Clarke Bank in 1952 and later Bank of Papillion in 1970. In 1995, the institution adopted its current name, Pinnacle Bank. Throughout its history, Pinnacle Bank has grown significantly through numerous acquisitions. The bank became a member of the Federal Reserve System in 1993, but withdrew from the system in 2004, subsequently changing its primary federal regulatory agency to the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation (FDIC). The bank's growth accelerated in the early 2000s, with numerous acquisitions including Crete State Bank in 2000 and The Beatrice National Bank and Trust Company in 2002. Noteworthy acquisitions continued through the following years, including Hastings State Bank in 2012 and Home State Bank in 2015. Pinnacle Bank's main office moved to Lincoln, Nebraska, in 2006, and currently operates numerous branches throughout the Midwest.
