Pilgrim Bank is a financial institution in Texas that was established on January 1, 1911, originally named First State Bank. The bank underwent several name changes and operational adjustments throughout its history. On June 14, 1971, it changed its name to First State Bank and moved its main office to 237 Jefferson Street in Pittsburg, Texas. In 1969, the bank withdrew from membership in the Federal Reserve System and became a state-chartered bank regulated by the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation (FDIC). The institution adopted the name Pilgrim Bank on March 10, 1997. In a significant expansion, Pilgrim Bank acquired Pilgrim Bank Texas, located in Clarendon, Texas, on November 16, 2009. On July 25, 2014, the main office was relocated to 145 East Marshall Street in Pittsburg, Texas.
