Peoples Southern Bank

Peoples Southern Bank was established in 1901 under the name The Peoples Savings Bank. Over the years, the institution underwent various changes, most notably rebranding to Peoples Southern Bank on December 5, 1997. On March 31, 2006, the main office was relocated to 620 Second Avenue North in Clanton, Alabama. Ultimately, on October 31, 2018, Peoples Southern Bank merged and became part of River Bank & Trust, based in Prattville, Alabama, marking the end of its operations as an independent banking entity.
