Peoples Federal S&L

Peoples Federal Savings and Loan Association was established in 1886. Over the years, the institution underwent several changes in its structure and regulatory status. On April 25, 1997, it changed its organization type to a stock savings and loan. Subsequently, on July 21, 2011, it changed its primary federal regulatory agency to The Office of the Comptroller of the Currency. In a significant transition, Peoples Federal S&L merged with The Farmers & Merchants State Bank located in Archbold, Ohio, on October 1, 2022, thus concluding its operations as an independent entity.
