Pentucket Bank is a financial institution established in 1891 under the original name Pentucket Five Cents Savings Bank. Initially, the bank was not insured by the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation (FDIC). It became FDIC insured on October 8, 1985. The institution underwent a name change to Pentucket Five Cents Savings Bank on August 22, 1974, before adopting its current name, Pentucket Bank, on November 29, 2000. On December 13, 1999, the bank's main office was relocated to One Merrimack Street in Haverhill, Massachusetts.
