Penn Community Bank is a financial institution established in 1922 originally as the First Federal Savings and Loan Association. The bank underwent several name changes, adopting the name First Savings Bank of Perkasie in 1991 when it also transitioned from a mutual savings bank to a stock savings bank. The bank's main office was relocated multiple times, with a significant move to Perkasie, Pennsylvania in 1991. In 2004, it changed its organization type and bank class to a State FDIC Supervised Stock Savings Bank. Over the years, Penn Community Bank expanded its operations through acquisitions, including First Federal Savings and Loan Association of Bucks County in August 2015 and Chelten Hills Savings Bank in October 2017.
