Passumpsic Savings Bank is a financial institution that was established on February 24, 1853, in Saint Johnsbury, Vermont. Originally founded as Passumpsic Savings Bank, the institution has undergone several significant changes over its history. In 1974, the main office moved to 124 Railroad Street in Saint Johnsbury, Vermont, and again relocated in 1999 to 497 Railroad Street in the same city. The bank transitioned to a stock savings bank on April 24, 1996, and on November 19, 1997, it expanded its trust powers to full. Over the years, Passumpsic Savings Bank has grown through acquisitions, including Passumpsic Bank, FSB in Littleton, New Hampshire on January 1, 2002; Siwooganock Bank, also in Lancaster, New Hampshire on October 18, 2006; and The Lancaster National Bank in Lancaster, New Hampshire on July 12, 2008.
