HISTORY OF PARTNERS BANK
Partners Bank is a financial institution that underwent several name changes and regulatory status modifications since its establishment. The bank was originally founded as Helena National Bank on April 1, 1940. In 1973, it changed its name to Helena National Bank, reflecting a new branding direction. On March 15, 1991, the bank acquired the Bank of Marvell located in Marvell, Arkansas. In a significant regulatory shift on October 19, 2018, the bank transitioned to a state-chartered institution and withdrew from membership in the Federal Reserve System, simultaneously changing its primary federal regulatory agency to the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation (FDIC). Following these changes, the bank adopted the name Hnb Bank on the same day. Eventually, on March 8, 2019, it rebranded itself again as Partners Bank, marking its current identity.
