Horrible bank. We had a trailer loan with them and when it was paid off we were selling it and had not received the title yet and were told we could come and get it from the Mt. Vernon office which was a little over an hour away. When we got there we were given the title to someones else's vehicle. Then after we told them this was not our title as it was for a truck and we have a trailer they had to look into it and then told us that the state doesn't give titles for the size of the trailer we have so we drove there for nothing. Our second trailer was then financed with them, and we paid the loan off and a month early. Now they said because the last day our payment could be paid under the grace period fell on a Sunday which was the day we paid what they listed as the payoff amount, but because they didn't "process" the payment till Monday, they therefore said that we paid the payment late and they are now not only charging us a late fee but interest on the late fee as well! There were a few other things that happened as well, that we won't get into but I would not give them any stars but it makes you put at least one.
This is concerning the third party company that Park National Bank uses for their credit card. The most incompetent place I have every dealt with. My elderly mother had to call 3 or 4 times to get my name added to her account to help her with her banking. My mother called to dispute something, they transferred her to the fraud department and they told her they would take $500 from her checking account and file a police report. What the world? Beware if applying for the credit card!
Bob Boss,
I had the worst banking experience of my 70 years at the Bucyrus Park Bank today. I tried to open an account for my 98 year old mother who is in assisted living. I have cash and savings bonds over $200,000. I had organized every legal document, SS#, POA, will, death certificate, photo ID, 2 pieces of ID, cash, highlighted cd, the sarcastic manager, Mikayla Johnson, kept putting up barriers, denying me opening an account. At one point she scolded me with, "Dont think you are going to open an account and then withdraw the money right away." I told her, "My mom is 98, there are no guarantees, I am using this money to sustain her in assisted living." Finally, I was told that my mother would have to come in and sign the form. I told her that my mother is blind. I loaded up my paperwork and told Mikayla Johnson that she was the most unhelpful person that I had ever dealt with. I had enough. I went to the other end of town and easily opened an account at Farmer's Citizen's Bank without any problems. Park Bank has over $1,000,000 of my investments and I no longer want to step foot inside that bank because of the poor customer service by Makayla Johnson. I hope that the staff at Bucyrus treats their customers in a kinder demeanor. I was not. Thank you. Could you please direct this to the bank president. Bob Boss.

Bucyrus, Ohio 44820 my 1 star rating is for the Bucyrus branch
They are always very nice to me and I like making my car payment thru the drive thru banking.
I tried to call the Bucyrus branch to find out if there was a night depository and all I got was the menu going around around. Never did connect me with a person.
