Paragon Bank is a banking institution established on January 19, 2005, originally under the name Paragon National Bank. On April 30, 2014, the bank underwent significant changes, including a name change to Paragon Bank, a shift in its primary federal regulatory agency to the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation (FDIC), and a reclassification as a state chartered bank that is not a member of the Federal Reserve System. This transition involved withdrawing from membership in the Federal Reserve System and changing its chartering agency to state.
