Pacific Commerce Bank

Pacific Commerce Bank was established on October 10, 2002, originally under the name Pacific Commerce Bank, N.A. The bank underwent significant changes over the years, notably on August 15, 2007, when it became a member of the Federal Reserve System, changed its primary federal regulatory agency to the Federal Reserve, and also changed its name to Pacific Commerce Bank. On September 2, 2003, the bank's main office was relocated to 420 East 3rd Street, Suite 100, Los Angeles, California. In 2015, Pacific Commerce Bank acquired Vibra Bank in Chula Vista, California, followed by the acquisition of ProAmerica Bank in Los Angeles, California, on May 20, 2016. Ultimately, on July 31, 2018, Pacific Commerce Bank merged with First Choice Bank in Cerritos, California, marking the end of its operations as an independent institution.
