As a business account holder, my experience with Optus Bank has been deeply disappointing. Following a security breach through Facebook, my account was completely emptied. Instead of providing support, the bank:
Took 4 weeks to return stolen funds
Added insult to injury by charging minimum balance and overdraft fees ($185+)
Failed to reverse fees as promised, requiring multiple follow-up calls
Charged additional unauthorized overdraft fees after account balance was restored
Deactivated my card without notice while business transactions were still pending
Despite multiple attempts to resolve these issues, each interaction required extensive follow-up and promises made were not kept. The bank's handling of fraud investigation and customer service has shown a concerning lack of professionalism and regard for business clients.
The month-long freeze on my business capital and constant need to monitor unauthorized charges has created unnecessary stress and operational disruptions. I would strongly caution other business owners to consider alternatives that offer better security measures and more responsive customer service.

Negative: Poor security, unresponsive customer service, unauthorized fees, lack of professional follow-through
Update: Even after requesting account closure forms, they continue to add unauthorized charges.
