OneSouth Bank was established on January 9, 1939, in Blakely, Georgia, originally operating under the name Bank of Early. The bank underwent various changes over the years, including a modification of its trust powers to limited on July 18, 1989. On March 31, 2006, the institution changed its name to Bank of Early and relocated its main office to 12347 Columbia Street, Blakely, Georgia. Subsequently, on May 2, 2019, the bank rebranded itself as OneSouth Bank. This transitioned the main office to a new location at 4070 Forsyth Road, Macon, Georgia, on August 29, 2022.
