History Of One Bank & Trust

One Bank & Trust was established on August 30, 1957, under the name American National Bank of North Little Rock. Over the years, it underwent several name changes and regulatory shifts. On March 12, 1973, the institution was renamed First American National Bank, and in 1984 it became First American Bank of North Little Rock, National Association. The bank further changed its name to One National Bank of North Little Rock on June 29, 1987, and subsequently acquired One National Bank of Little Rock on October 1, 1987, at which point it adopted the name One National Bank. The bank transitioned to the name One Bank & Trust, National Association on May 1, 2001, and also changed its primary federal regulatory agency to The Office of the Comptroller of the Currency while becoming a member of the Federal Reserve System. Notably, the main office was relocated to 300 West Capital Avenue in Little Rock, Arkansas, on July 1, 1991. On December 18, 1998, the institution changed its name to One Bank & Trust and again adjusted its regulatory framework. Ultimately, on August 1, 2018, One Bank & Trust merged with First National Bank in Paragould, Arkansas.
