History Of OMB Bank
OMB Bank, originally established as the Bank of Ash Grove on April 13, 1883, has undergone several changes throughout its history. The institution's main office was initially located at Webster Street and State Highway 160 in Ash Grove, Missouri. On December 3, 2009, the main office was relocated to 218 North Webster Avenue in Ash Grove. Significant changes occurred in late 2014 when the bank moved its main office to 3570 South National Avenue in Springfield, Missouri, and acquired Old Missouri Bank on December 13, 2014. On the same date, the institution changed its name to Old Missouri Bank and became a state-chartered bank, part of the Federal Reserve System. On October 23, 2014, the bank's primary federal regulatory agency was changed to the Federal Reserve. The institution’s name was ultimately changed to OMB Bank on March 7, 2023.
