The Oklahoma Bank and Trust Company has a history that dates back to its establishment on March 2, 1908, originally operating under the name The Oklahoma National Bank of Clinton. Throughout the years, the institution underwent several significant changes. On June 6, 1970, it moved its main office to 600 Gary Freeway in Clinton, Oklahoma, and rebranded as The Oklahoma National Bank of Clinton. On May 18, 1971, the bank changed its name to Oklahoma Bank and Trust Company, became a state-chartered bank, and withdrew from membership in the Federal Reserve System.
