Oglesby State Bank

Oglesby State Bank was established on January 1, 1925, originally operating under the name The First National Bank of Oglesby. Over the years, the bank experienced several notable changes, including a shift in its regulatory status. On July 8, 1968, it changed its primary federal regulatory agency to the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation (FDIC), transitioned to a state-chartered bank, and withdrew from membership in the Federal Reserve System. In the following decades, the bank relocated its main office, moving to Main Street in Oglesby, Texas, on April 20, 1990, and later to 117 Texas in Oglesby on February 24, 2009.
