History Of Oak Bank
Oak Bank, originally established as Oak Trust and Savings Bank on July 31, 1970, underwent several name changes and organizational shifts throughout its history. On August 26, 1975, the institution adopted the name Oak Trust and Savings Bank, and later, on June 14, 1989, it changed its trust powers to limited. After nearly a decade, on December 1, 1999, the institution rebranded itself as Oak Bank. In 2006, the main office relocated to 1000 North Rush Street in Chicago, Illinois. On May 24, 2019, Oak Bank merged with Wintrust Bank, located in Chicago, Illinois, and subsequently changed its name to Wintrust Bank, National Association on October 1, 2019.
