I have been a customer for more than 20 years. They never notified me of the minimum balance change on my account. They charged me 4 monthly fees before I realized what they did. They refused to reimburse these fees even though they never notified me of their minimum balance change. This bank has gone down hill over the last 5 years or more. I highly suggest you bank with someone else.
NEVER in my 50+ year professional career have I EVER been treated with such utter disdain, dismissivenss and disrespect. My account is closed out as of today. There are MANY banks in our area - there is NO reason to accept this one. I wish my interaction had been recorded - the Absolute Antithesis of Customer Service. Phil Reed, 716-992-8988.
I received a welcome card to open an account and receive a $500 bonus. Now, six months later, after abiding by all the terms, Northwest tells me I am not eligible for the bonus. Don't be scammed by this bank like I was. How do I give zero stars?
My parents have been banking in Curwensville Pa. for many years- They are with Northwest Savings Bank. My parents are now in their 80's and at this time needing some extra help with their care and keeping up with monthly finances etc. My sister and 3 brothers take turns taking care of their needs as they still live independently and we live in different states. We truly appreciate all the staff being Professional, helpful, caring and kind to our parents and each of us as we call for help or info on our parents accounts etc. Each and every call the staff is very professional and friendly to us - we always receive the help and answers to our questions right away. On our last call which was today concerning online banking we had the pleasure to talk with Laura - she was able to help explain what we needed to do and truly made our day. Zelienople branch office closed late 2019. It was a 5-star office.
I have been a customer of this bank, with all of its' different identities for over 50 years. This service or lack thereof under Northwest management is appalling. I have requested an appointment to discuss money matters and have been denied. Their customer service is non-existant. Their auto teller is inefficient- expect a 1/2 hour wait around the building. God help you if your ATM card get stuck in the machine. Don't expect any help complaining to the "Corporate Office". They don't think rudeness to customers is a concern and have said so in writing. I intend to close my account and guess what, they don't care. Don't go here. You've been warned.

Your Northwest Bank in Coalport, pa is the worst bank I have ever had to deal with, Not costomer service but your ATM, I have made more trips to the Atm to advoid th extra cost of using another ATM to find the Northwest bank ATM would not accepts my checks or my with draws of my own money having to pay out seveal dollars more then 7 times to with draw my own money not to mention the fuel i used to drive to your bank. to with draw my own money to make tranacion at other ATMS this including my fiiance'account He has there. I am now in search of a more reliabale bank that wont cost me 7 dollars every time i need to with draw our own money. I have complained about this to the teller at the drive through only to be told the ATM was recently foxed to find out 3 days later driving all the way to coalport for the ATM to tell me I can not make any cash with draws at this time also can not seposit my fiance checks becuase i need to see a bank manager during opem hours. while he lays in the hospital and the day before not accepting my check deposit. I have had many banks and this is the worse I ever bank I had to deal with I think we should just go back to First Commentwealth bank.
