History Of Northview Bank
Northview Bank is a financial institution established in 1908 under the name First State Bank of Finlayson, located in Finlayson, Minnesota. The bank has undergone several name changes and acquisitions throughout its history. In 1981, the main office was moved to School Street in Finlayson, and in 1992, it was relocated to 2203 Finland Avenue in the same town. On April 1, 2004, the institution changed its name to Northview Bank and continued to expand through acquisitions, including the purchase of First State Bank of Floodwood in February 2004, The First National Bank of Deer River in December 2006, and First National Bank of the North in July 2011. In March 2012, the main office moved to 510 Main Street, Sandstone, Minnesota. More recently, on June 6, 2015, Northview Bank acquired the State Bank of Park Rapids in Park Rapids, Minnesota.
